Vision Statement and Values of Youth Aid Council
Our Vision is our Mission
The mission of the Youth Aid Council is to combat social exclusion by empowering everyone to generate income and build self-confidence as part of a rewarding and interdependent community project.
Our Values

Humans are at the centre of the project: we need to consider their strengths and build on them, make them grow rather than regarded as one of their weaknesses or difficulties. They are not only the beneficiaries of the Youth Aid Council but they also are the actors of the joint project. Always “be and act with them” and not “in their place.”
To promote partnership, making the beneficiaries become stakeholders of their careers and get into the mindset to be open to others: the action of Youth Aid Council is based on the involvement of all economic and social stakeholders and thus requires to develop quality partnerships with the business world, the social influencers, and the civil society.
Sharing our experience and apprenticeship for causes that are not our exclusive property and therefore the Youth Aid Council does not consider itself in competition with other organisations. In this sense, we gladly share our experience with all those fighting for these causes and who share our values. To achieve these objectives, it seems essential to promote the proximity between stakeholders and partnerships based on reciprocity and balance. Exchange, openness and friendliness are the guidelines of our daily action at Youth Aid Council.“
Why Youth Aid Council?
The civil society is composed of many local initiatives that have few resources to implement their projects.
In many areas, the lack of equipment or quality services for these practical initiatives acts like a brake on the implementation of their activities.
The Youth Aid Council’s approach is to combine our understanding of user needs, proven and adapted solutions with a commitment to meeting the charity goals. We are proactive in our aftercare.
What we want
The Youth Aid Council project is relevant wherever solidarity and meaningful activities are responses to exclusion as well as tools for social, vocational and civic integration of people in difficulty.
The goal of the Youth Aid Council is to constantly do more and better:
- Doing more by opening our project to a larger audience.
- Doing better by continuously improving the quality of our coaching, of our production and by highlighting a culture of social innovation.
The Youth Aid Council wants to be a judiciously committed charity that is strong in its convictions and resolutely turned towards businesses in order to promote the integration of people it coaches.
The Youth Aid Council is a charitable organisation that grows, based on a flow of continuous exchange and transfer of skills and ideas.
